All deliverables were created while working for Crown

Project Overview
Scholarly is a professional social network built to help Gen-Z connect, collaborate, and thrive. The brand is all about vibrant visuals and creating a sense of community, which totally aligns with their mission.
I worked under Crown, a branding agency, to bring their vision to life. I created an anticipation video, some poster animations, and localized animations to help Scholarly stand out. The illustrations were done by Fasoro Bunmi, and the brand identity was handled by Alexander Akande. My job was to make everything move and feel engaging—it was such a fun project to work on!
Challenge
The biggest challenge for me on the Scholarly project was learning how to rig fingers. For the trophy animation, I had to make sure the fingers held the trophy naturally and realistically, which was a whole new skill for me. On top of that, we were working with super vibrant colors to match the brand’s identity. I worked closely with the illustrator to make sure we didn’t run into any color mismatches while picking the palette, even with all those bold tones.
Results
For Scholarly, I focused on bringing the brand to life through motion design, including logo animation, poster animations, and additional animations for the website. Beyond motion design, I also played a key role in art direction, working closely with the illustrator to shape the brand’s visual identity.
The results were a cohesive and engaging visual presence that truly captured the brand’s energy.
